The IRS is reinvigorating its asset forfeiture program..  If the assets in your bank are all of a sudden frozen, there is a good reason for it.  Odds are, it probably involves the IRS.

Now, the IRS is flexing its asset forfeiture muscles against taxpayers with offshore bank accounts and other international activities.  The IRS can seize taxpayer property as part of a civil legal action or a criminal prosecution.   In some cases, the IRS can seize property as an administrative matter without any court involvement at all.

So if your offshore account gets frozen, contact a tax professional at Thorn Law Group today!
